Mayor Suh Byung-soo congratulated the conclusion of the Viet Nam-RoK FTA negotiations, regarding this as an important milestone to spur the bilateral cooperative ties, especially in the domains of economics, trade and investment.

Mr. Suh Byung-soo revealed that Bussan and Ho Chi Minh City had set up twin relationship. So far, around 340 Bussan enterprises are doing business in Viet Nam. Around 10,000 overseas Vietnamese are living in Bussan.

The Mayor proposed the Bussan Bank open a branch in Viet Nam; promising to spare no effort to create favourable ways for the overseas Vietnamese community to do business and integrate into the local market.

For his part, PM Dung hailed the proposal of the Bussan Bank. He also suggested the Mayor beef up economic, trade and commercial linkages between the two countries.

The Government leader recommended Bussan strengthen cooperation with Viet Nam in the areas of education, training and healthcare.

The same day, PM Dung separately received Korean leaders of Doosan, CJ, Teakwang, Lotte, and Bussan Bank.
