The PM highly valued cooperation between Airbus Group and the national flag carrier and other Vietnamese airlines, which will pave the way for further cooperation in the future.

He proposed the two sides strictly realize contracts on the delivery of civil aircrafts, including 10 wide-body planes A350-900 XWB from now to 2019, to develop Viet Znam Airlines fleet.
In addition, both sides need to design long-term cooperation strategies, suggesting the Airbus should further assist Viet Nam in training personnel and developing technical infrastructure, including maintenance facilities, repairing and producing aircraft accessories.

Viet Nam is willing to discuss and promote partnerships with Airbus in airspace and military technique, including transport planes and defense equipment, he added.

Mr. Thomas Enders revealed that Airbus attaches importance to the long-term and strategic cooperation with Viet Nam, committing to supporting Viet Nam’s airlines in developing its fleets and technical and personnel assistance to successfully operate Airbus planes.

Viet Nam is the first in Asia purchasing Airbus A350-900 XWB and the second in the world to purchase the model, he said, adding that Airbus will provide maximum support to Viet Nam Airlines to put the aircraft into operation and ensure a timely delivery of the other ordered vessels.
