PM Dung due to visit India

Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and his spouse are to pay an official visit to India from October 27-29 at the invitation of his Indian counterpart Narenda Modi.

This was announced by vice spokesperson Pham Thu Hang at a Foreign Ministry press briefing in Hanoi on October 23.

The upcoming visit is designed to boost the strategic partnership between the two nations, primarily in politics, security, economics, science-technology, culture, education, tourism, aviation.

During the visit, PM will have talks with PM Narenda Modi and meet with President Pranab Mukherjee on regional and international issues of mutual concern.

He is expected to give a speech at the Vietnam-India Business Forum and visit a number of cultural and historical relic sites.
