Night market on Phu Quoc Island
Dinh Cau Market is located near Duong Dong Beach, on Vo Thi Sau Street. It houses around 100 jewelry and souvenir shops. The jewelery shops there specialise in pearl, mother of pearl and shells. The main attraction for Dinh Cau, however, are the seafood stands, laden with large tanks displaying live fish, lobsters and crabs. More experienced customers will ask the vendors for the freshest catches of the day.
Fried seafood, especially grilled oysters with onions are a specialty at Dinh Cau Market, attracting hundreds of visitors each night. Tourists to the region often recommend it as a destination because of the culinary attractions of Dinh Cau Market, but also because of the friendliness of the people there.
