Nicky Wu, Cecilia Liu tie the knot

Singer-actor Nicky Wu revealed he has registered his marriage with actress Cecilia Liu in a Weibo micro blog post on Tuesday (Jan 20).

BEIJING: Singer-actor Nicky Wu revealed that he has registered his marriage with actress Cecilia Liu in a Weibo micro blog post on Tuesday (Jan 20).

“Cherish happiness,” wrote Wu in his post, which was accompanied by a photo of two marriage certificates and a pair of wedding rings.

Liu responded to his post with one of her own and wrote "We are very happy".

Wu, 44, had played lovers with Liu, who is 17 years his junior, in the popular 2011 drama Scarlet Heart, and went public with their real-life romance in 2013.

This is Wu’s second marriage. He was previously married to actress Ma Ya Shu but called it quits in 2009.

Both Wu and Liu’s management agencies have denied rumours that Liu is already pregnant.
