That is the reason why domestic tour operators have right in early 2011 invested in building products for businessmen such as helicopter tours and Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) tours and sports exchange tours.
Since the beginning of the year, the Fiditour Company has offered a cluster of new-year fair tours which aim to open up cooperation opportunities for Vietnamese businesspeople, including the four-day Singapore Furniture Fair, the five-day Shanghai Furniture Fair and the four-day Thailand Book Fair with a price of VND10 million and VND12 million per tour.
Viettravel has also conducted an unique package entitled âAround-the-world Golf Tourismâ to serve businessmenâs love to the âpatricianâ sport as well as create opportunities for them to boost exchanges and business cooperation.
Vitours, a tourist company in the central city of Da Nang , has coordinated with the Northern Service Flight Company to offer a helicopter tour targeting those who want to save time with a price of thousands of USD per flying hour.
According to Le Ba Ngoc, Vice President of the Vietnam Handicraft Exportersâ Association, Vietnamese businesses spend around $2 million on international fair and exhibition activities each year. Therefore, on this occasion, most of them want to combine joining fairs and exhibitions with going sightseeing, visiting and relaxing.
The fact shows a great demand for MICE tours, business exchange and sports tours, he added.
