Quang Ninh accelerates reforms to lure more investors
Quang Ninh Province has pledged to speed up administrative reform, publicity of lists of projects calling for investment, introduction of preferential treatment to specific investment projects, and improvement of infrastructure.

The local authorities have pledged to hand over cleared sites to investors in a certain period of time, advance investors money from the provincial budget to accelerate site clearance, complete electricity, water, communications… systems at investment sites.
Quang Ninh is among the first provinces in the country to establish enterprise supporting information offices and use software to assist business registration procedures.
The locality is focusing on calling for investment in the 5 fields of tourism and entertainment service; seaport, border gates and logistics system; trade; infrastructure and training, especially providing human resources for high-grade services, according to the provincial People’s Committee Chairman Nguyen Van Đoc.
The province is calling for investment in 18 projects, including Van Đon international airport, a road linking Halong City with Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway, Van Canh eco-tourism site…
The province currently houses 89 valid foreign-invested projects with total registered capital of over $3.7 billion. It will hold the biggest-ever investment promotion conference late this month.
