An investment certificate has been granted to Gamuda Gardens – a project component, by Hanoi People’s Committee.
Located in Hoang Mai district, Gamuda City is a world class 500 hectare property with the total investments of $2 billion. Its five key components are Yen So Park, Gamuda Lakes, Gamuda Central, Gamuda Plaza and Gamuda Gardens.
Gamuda City involves the transformation and development of an existing natural environment into an international-class thematic park surrounded by the combination of commercial developments Gamuda Central, Gamuda Plaza and residential developments Gamuda Gardens and Gamuda Lakes. Currently, all the key components of the project are well on their way to being completed as scheduled .
The Yen So Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) and Cultural Gardens and Traditional Park including Yen So Park are 95 per cent completed and is expected to be in full operation in early 2012.
Gamuda City is the first property development in Hanoi to dedicate 64 per cent of its land to parks and lakes.
Cheong Ho Kuan, general director of Gamuda Land Vietnam, said that upon completion, Gamuda City would transform southern Hanoi into one of the most dynamic integrated commercial and residential townships.
An additional milestone for the project is the granting of the investment licence to Gamuda Gardens, a key township component in Gamuda City. Gamuda Gardens features more than 2,000 Gamuda homes including villas, semi-detached, terraces and apartments and other community utilities which will set a new trend of living. Kuan said: “The first phase of Gamuda Gardens development will be officially launched before the end of this year and it will be exclusively conducted by Gamuda Land Vietnam Real Estate Trading Floor.”
To date, Gamuda Land’s property developments in Malaysia have spread 2,480ha with a value of more than $8.2 billion.
