Ernst & Young Vietnam relocates to Bitexco Financial Tower

Ernst & Young has relocated its Ho Chi Minh City office in District 1 to Bitexco Financial Tower.

This relocation represents a significant improvement in floor area and building specification.

Christopher Butler, office managing partner of Ernst & Young Ho Chi Minh City, said “We are delighted with our new office. The facilities are excellent and the address unrivalled with Bitexco Financial Tower being Ho Chi Minh’s landmark building. Thanks to Cushman & Wakefield, the relocation process was executed with a high standard professionalism from an early stage of lease acquisition to managing the physical relocation work at an impressive speed given our tight deadline”.

Cushman & Wakefield Vietnam advised Ernst & Young on both lease transaction and relocation. Robert Johnston, national head of commercial agency, said: “This transaction is a key win for both landlord and tenant. Ernst & Young has excellent space in the country’s most iconic office building on competitive commercial terms and Bitexco has secured one of the strongest occupiers in the financial services sector.”

At the time, the 68-floor Bitexco Financial Tower is offering the leasing price ranges from $30-$55 per square metre per year. About 65 per cent of the total office space of around 37,000sqm in the building is filled up.

William Badger, marketing director of Bitexco Group, said that the stunning deals would not be offered for a long time. The prices could be increased after the occupancy rate of the building reach to 80-85 per cent.
