Lazada, one of the region’s top online retail businesses, reaffirms its leading position in Vietnam by seamlessly advancing its innovative delivery system.

Lazada yesterday launched two brand new services, “Express Delivery” and “Self Pickup at Lazada’s Office”, to reduce waiting times and costs for customers.

The introduction of the two new services demonstrates the group’s constant efforts to optimise its delivery system while perfecting the quality of its services to cement its status at the forefront of Vietnam’s e-commerce industry.

By using the “Express Delivery” service, customers in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City will receive their goods within the day they order or by the next working day, depending on their order time and delivery address for a fee of just VND10,000.

In the event of a delay, which was caused by Lazada or the delivery provider, customers will be given a voucher worth VND30,000, three times the service fee.

Through this express delivery service, Lazada hopes to deliver a reliable, convenient, cost-effective and attractive shopping experience to customers.

In addition, to reduce shipping costs, customers can now also choose another service, “Self Pickup at Lazada’s Office”, when they order products distributed directly by Lazada.

This service is available at nine locations across the country, including Ho Chi Minh City (offices in District 4 and Binh Thanh District), Hanoi, Danang, Can Tho, Nha Trang, Vung Tau, Haiphong and Bien Hoa.

Customers choosing this option will have no, or a reduced bulky fee applied as they pick up the order themselves

Moreover, Lazada is applying the latest Internet technology in its storehouses to guarantee seamless processes. Therefore, customers can track their order throughout the delivery process at www.lazada.vn/kiem-tra-don-hang/.

Additionally, Lazada will announce changes to the delivery process, such as delivery time and packing issues to customers via email and text messages.

“After almost three years operating in Vietnam, we realise that the delivery process is one of the major challenges facing e-commerce businesses such as ourselves. It requires both expediency and reliability, both of which are affected by many conditions. We, therefore, are delighted to be able to provide express delivery options within the order day to provide quick and reliable shopping for customers,” said Alexandre Dardy, general director of Lazada Vietnam.

Lazada is an e-commerce service tailoring the shopping needs of customers with 300,000 products from more than 1,000 brands. It is the only international brand among the top 5 retail websites in Vietnam, with more than 1.5 million accesses per day.
