PwC Vietnam announced last week the expansion of its Ho Chi Minh City office to accommodate the firm’s growing business and to better serve its clients.

The company will now occupy four floors in Ho Chi Minh City’s Saigon Tower

Specifically, PwC Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh City office will occupy one more floor – Level 8 at the Saigon Tower, 29 Le Duan, District 1 – from September 14. The office now takes up a total of four floors of the building, namely the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 8th floors, with the reception moved from 4th to the 8th floor. The firm’s telephone numbers and email addresses will remain unchanged.

The expansion will fully meet the firm’s present needs for additional space and for the next five years, at which point its workforce is expected to grow to 1,000 people in both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

“The expansion of PwC Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh City office will better accommodate our staff’s work space needs and provide us with state-of-the-art facilities to host client meetings and other activities”, said Richard Peters, chief operating officer of PwC Vietnam.

“It supports the firm’s vision for business growth, as well as responding to the demand of increasing our capabilities in offering and providing services to the market. This expansion represents our commitment to enhancing quality and helping our clients build on their success,” he said.

PwC, present in 157 countries and employing over 195,000, provides advisory, assurance, tax, and legal services. The PwC network reported global gross revenues of $34 billion for its worldwide network of firms for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2014, up 6 per cent on year.

PwC Vietnam established offices in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City in 1994. It now employs more than 750 local and expatriate staff, and has a foreign law company licensed by the Ministry of Justice with a head office in Ho Chi Minh City and a branch office in Hanoi.
