Emerging Korean girl band Mamamoo is poised to visit Ho Chi Minh City early next month to partake in an event and launch their new album.

The four-member group will make it to Vietnam as guests to Dream Star, a contest which selects and trains winners to become professional singers, local media cited the group’s management agency as saying.

The information was also confirmed by representatives of GM Entertainment, a Hanoi-based company, who organizes the Dream Star contest.

Accompanying the girls on their trip to Vietnam will be Korean music producer Kim Do Hoon, who will sit on the contest’s jury, The Thao va Van Hoa (Sports and Culture) newspaper reported.

The much-loved band will also present 100 autographed singles featuring “Mr. Ambiguous,” one of their hits, to local fans.

During the forthcoming trip, the girls will debut their latest product which has yet to be unveiled, according to newswire VnExpress.

Mamamoo entered the Korean entertainment industry in June 2014 with the song “Mr. Ambiguous.”

The girls were quickly catapulted to fame and have landed in Korean billboards a few times.
