KinderWorld Education Group to develop Outward Bound Vietnam in Binh Dinh

Pegasus Investment and Consultancy JSC, the Vietnamese subsidiary of Singapore’s Kinderworld Education Group, today received the investment certificate from the Binh Dinh People’s Committee to establish an outdoor education facility Outward Bound Vietnam in Quy Nhon city. 

The 60.3 hectare project, located in the Nhon Hoi Economic Zone, will be developed over three phases with the total investment capital of $10 million and is an inclusive development which integrates eco-tourism and wellness to provide life-style services for families and business organisations.

As part of KinderWorld’s complete approach to education, an Outward Bound school in Vietnam aims to develop personal character in youths through adventure and challenge in an educational process based on action and reflection.

As a member of Outward Bound International, Outward Bound Vietnam endeavours to inspire social, community and environmental responsibilities in youths through holistic learning and development while adhering to the highest educational and safety standards of the Outward Bound Schools network.

Outward Bound Vietnam will form a collaborative partnership with Outward Bound Singapore and in so doing, will share knowledge and expertise and exchange of students / participants between the two schools.

Outward Bound was founded in 1941 in Aberdovey, Wales and is an international, non-profit, independent, outdoor education organisation with schools in over 34 countries, serving more than 250,000 participants every year.

Founded in 1986 in Singapore, KinderWorld Education Group operates under the brand names of Singapore International School (SIS), Singapore Vietnam International School (SVIS), KinderWorld International Kindergarten (KIK) and Pegasus International College (PIC) in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Danang, Vung Tau, Binh Duong and Nha Trang and Pegasus International School in Malaysia (Johor) providing education from nursery to higher and continuing education.
