Japanese-American hip hop artist to perform
Bilingual rapper KenshoKuma and Tokyo-based beat maker Cloud NI9E will perform together at CAM ATK in Hanoi on August 29.
The duo’s performance is part of their Southeast Asian tour to celebrate the launch of their latest EP, The Proggamme.
A 15-year veteran of West Coast American hip hop culture and community, Kuma’s bilingualism and slick rhymes have seen him share the stage with hip hop heavy-weights. His collaborations with producer and DJ Cloud NI9E are a match made is beat-heaven with their latest EP, which received significant attention in the US, Japan and Europe.
Cloud NI9E rose to prominence in Japan with the jazz and soul heavy compositions that saw some of the world’s best lyricist looking to collaborate with the Far Eastern beat-maker.
