Visiting ITF President David Haggerty made the statement in a meeting with Vice Chairwoman of the HCM City People’s Committee Nguyen Thi Thu on January 10.

She stressed that HCM City has provided many talented tennis players for Vietnam’s sport sector and suggested the ITF continue assist the city in organising tennis events and training courses for local tennis players and trainers.

HCM City was selected as the next destination for the AGM on the concluding day of the 2016 conference in Zagreb in June, following a presentation by VTF commercial director Longy Le Hoang and general secretary Nguyen Quoc Ky.
