The exhibition is being held from May 18 to 20 at the Saigon Exhibition Conference Centre (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City. The venue covers an area of nearly 8,000 square metres, showcasing screen printing, special printing, digital inkjet, textile printing equipment, and related products.

There are more than 100 exhibitors from Japan, Vietnam, China, India, Thailand, Korea, Japan, Singapore, Pakistan, and Hong Kong. The three-day event is expected to welcome 6,000 visitors and industrial buyers from all over the Asia-Pacific.

Asia-Pacific Screen Printing and Graphic Imaging Association (ASGA) has been organising industrial exhibitions since 2001. The association hopes that the first Vietnamese exhibition will contribute to technological advancement of screen printing and digital printing in the country. The event would also promote the industry globally, creating greater cooperation platforms and more opportunities.

According to the organiser, Vietnam is luring in more foreign direct investment in the textile, footwear, packaging, and electronics sectors, which creates additional demand for printing products and services. The industry requires advanced technology to meet the evolving demand of consumers.

ASGA is committed to promoting new technologies and development in Vietnam. ASGA’s pavilion is dedicated to display various creative prints from Japan, Korea, China, Thailand, and Australia.

Meanwhile, there is a venue for exchange and interactive activities to enhance mutual understanding among industry colleagues. A seminar on digital textile and garment printing will also be held at the exhibition to update participants on the future trends in Vietnam and Southeast Asian markets.
