With unique contemporary and avant-garde interior design, Wink Hotels was created for the dynamic new generation emerging throughout the region.

Designed especially for aspirational young travellers, it promises an eclectic cocktail of modernity, innovation, and efficiency, all underpinned by traditional Vietnamese values.

“We call this new generation ‘Indochina 2.0’,” said Peter R. Ryder, co-founder of Indochina Vanguard Hotels and CEO of Indochina Capital Corporation.

“Wink speaks to its core by representing the power and tenacity of the Vietnamese identity, by catering to their fast-paced, ever-changing lifestyles and immersing them in the cultural depths of the destination,” Ryder said at the launching ceremony held last week in Ho Chi Minh City.

“With Wink Hotels, we want to be more than just the stylish ‘new kid on the block,’” said Bruce Musick, cofounder of Indochina Vanguard Hotels and group CEO of Vanguard Hotels. “We want to change and disrupt the local hotel industry by challenging passé, outdated notions of hospitality and developing a truly innovative and exciting brand that resonates with young and young-at-heart local and regional travellers.”

“Vietnam deserves the best and we want to bring the finest elements of the hospitality industry to this dynamic country,” said Michael Piro, co-founder of Indochina Vanguard Hotels and chief operating officer of Indochina Land.

“We will provide a consistent brand experience not only in primary markets such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Danang, but also, over time, in many of Vietnam’s emerging secondary cities. Wink Hotels will have a nationwide footprint,” said Piro.

Wink Hotels is the first hotel product from Indochina Vanguard Hotels Pte., Ltd., a joint venture established in 2016 between Singapore-based Vanguard Hotels Pte., Ltd. and Indochina Capital Corporation, an innovative leader in Vietnam’s rapidly growing real estate, financial services, and capital markets.

The first Wink Hotels is planned to be launched in Ho Chi Minh City in the third quarter of 2019.

Wink Hotels will be the first investment by a joint venture between Indochina Vanguard Hotels and Japanese Kajima Corporation in a long vision to develop property throughout Vietnam with a total investment capital estimated to eclipse $1 billion over the next decade.
