HCM City approves PPP for trade centre
A group of Japanese businessmen have submitted a proposal to invest in the underground commercial trade centre in Ho Chi Minh City's Metro Line No 1 near Ben Thanh Market.

The People’s Committee has approved the request, which would utilize the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, and have submitted it to the Prime Minister for final approval.
The project, which is currently underway, has a budget of US$376.6 million (VND8.4 trillion). It is scheduled for completion in late 2019.
