Hanoi to host “Nights in the Gardens of Spain” concert

The National Academy of Music in Hanoi will host a concert directed by the Spaniard David Gómez on October 7.

The Vietnam National Academy of Music and the Spanish Embassy in Hanoi renew their collaboration to offer the concert “Nights in the Gardens of Spain”, directed by the Spaniard David Gómez Ramírez, lead conductor of the Lira Saguntina Symphonic Orchestra and Choir.

Gómez, a veteran of Vietnamese stages, returns to Hanoi with pianist Mario Mora, a rising talent of the Spanish musical scene.

On this occasion the Spanish conductor, in collaboration with the Hanoi Philharmonic Orchestra, will engage the audience in a musical round-trip from the gardens of Andalusia to the mountains of Sa Pa, combining classics by Manuel de Falla and Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov with a few select symphonic pieces from Vietnamese ethnic folk music.

Tickets will be available for free on a first-come, first-served basis. Please book your tickets by sending an e-mail to huong.nguyen@maec.es before September 26.

Once you receive confirmation from this Embassy, you can collect your tickets at our premises from September 29 to October 4.
