Ha Long Bay among top 8 green spaces in Asia

Ha Long Bay has been listed among top eight green spaces/national parks in Asia, according to the Agoda.com, one of Asia’s leading hotel booking websites.

Ha Long Bay ranked fourth with 4.23/5 mark. The result is based on feedbacks of customers and analysis of booking information on agoda.com.

With outstanding aesthetic, geographical - geomorphologic values, Ha Long Bay was recognized by UNESCO as World Natural Heritage twice in 1994 and 2000. The bay was also listed as one of new seven nature wonders of the world by New7Wonders Organization in 2011.

Covering an area of 1,553km², Ha Long Bay encompasses 1,969 islands of various sizes, 989 of which have been given names. It borders Cat Ba Island to the south-west, and the mainland to the west with a 120km-long coastline.

Arriving in Ha Long Bay, tourists will have a chance to visit grottos, islands, take part in overnight tours in Bo Nau (Pelican) Grotto, Sung Sot (Surprise) Grotto, Luon Grotto, Trinh Nu (Virgin) Grotto, Cong Do Island, Ba Ham Lake or ecotourism tour in Soi Sim Island, bath and climb in Titov Island, kayak on Ha Long Bay or enjoy panorama view of the bay from helicopters.
