The Government chief expressed his hope that the World Bank would continue providing assistance for socio-economic development, infrastructure development, human resource training, and poverty reduction in Viet Nam.

Mr. Axel van Trotsenburg said that the World Bank will grant financial resources to the maximum level for Viet Nam and closely cooperate with the country in loan disbursement.

The WB will also stand side by side with Viet Nam in sharing policy recommendations regarding macro-economic stabilization and growth maintenance, stand ready to help Viet Nam access to capital sources, and speed up public-private partnership model, he added.

During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on Viet Nam’s policies on macro-economic stabilization, growth maintenance, investment development, job creation, and poverty reduction.
