Generali Vietnam Life fully opens doors in Vietnam

Generali Vietnam Life has rolled out its individual life and group business to the market.

Generali Vietnam Life, which recently received a business licence from the Ministry of Finance, was the latest Generali Group venture to expand into the emerging Asia, said the company’s general director Simon Lam.

According to Lam, Generali Vietnam Life’s individual business model aimed to achieve sustainable long-term business growth based on a dedicated focus on agency productivity and strong investment in building up the agency development competence of the company.

In addition, it encompasses a comprehensive group business leveraging on the group’s expertise in employee benefit solutions.

Having started its group business late 2011, Generali Vietnam has built up a product suite and quality customer service offerings to fulfill the needs of enterprises in Vietnam.

 Head of Generali Asia’s life regional operations Terence Wong said: “Asia is a strategic priority for Generali. The establishment of Generali in Vietnam is a key component of the group’s expansion strategy in the region and increases our presence in Asia to a total of eight markets,” adding that Generali had a long track-record in building businesses and its strongly committed to the long-term development of its operations in Vietnam.
