Gaining real farming experience

Opened in 2012, the 15-hectare Cu Chi clean vegetable farm in Cu Chi District, HCMC has attracted many foreign visitors who want to gain hands-on experience in the daily chores of local farmers such as growing paddy, taking care of vegetables, and making dishes from the ingredients from their farms.

Singaporean students grow paddy at Cu Chi clean vegetable farm

Luong Viet Tan, the owner of the Cu Chi farm, said every month he receives 300 to 400 visitors, most of them from Singapore, the U.S. and Europe, and that the busiest period is between May and July when international schools send their students here as one of their summer activities.

The Cu Chi clean vegetable farm is located at Road 2, Phuoc Vinh An Commune, Cu Chi District.
