First H1N1 case in Ba Ria-Vung Tau discharged
The first case patient to have contracted H1N1 avian flu this year in Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province was released from hospital in a stable condition, Ba Ria hospital announced on Saturday.

The hospital last Monday admitted a 54-year-old male patient suffering symptoms of coughing, high fever and sore throat.
The doctors learnt that he earlier took his wife to the Tu Du Hospital in HCM City where an on-going H1N1 outbreak has infected 28 people and already killed one while another remains in critical condition.
The patient tested positive for the A/H1N1 virus.
His health improved after three days of treatment and he was then sent home, the hospital said.
