Fecon honoured as best contractor at Samsung complex

Fecon Foundation Engineering and Underground Construction JSC was recently bestowed with a certificate of merit from Samsung Electronic for its contributions to the success of projects at the Korean tech giant’s Thai Nguyen hi-tech complex.

Fecon has successfully completed most of its work at Samsung’s Metal and Die Casting plants which are part of the Samsung Electronics Vietnam Thai Nguyen (SEVTN) complex.

Roofing ceremony for the die casting plant under SEVTN complex

The company was honoured as the best contractor at the SEVTN site at a recent roofing ceremony for the die casting plant, fending off rivals from South Korea and Vietnam.

Last year, due to its top quality work as foundation engineering and underground work, Fecon was chosen by Samsung Everland, Samsung Engineering and Samsung C&T as the main engineering procurement construction contractors for pile positioning at Samsung plants in the SEVTN complex.

Fecon successfully implemented 300,000 metres of piles at SEVTN plants in contracts worth over VND300 billion ($14 million) last year, making a major contribution to Fecon’s achievement of its revenue target of VND1.5 trillion ($70 million) in 2014.
