Shoulder-to-shoulder we have done a great job. Over the last 23 years, since VIR first hit the presses in Vietnam’s just emerging media industry, the newspaper has strived to keep pace with and mirror the country’s reform and open-door process. We have endeavored to keep our readers updated with the country’s investment and business news throughout its moves to engage more broadly in global economic and political arenas. At the same time, VIR has functioned as an effective bridge between Vietnam’s policymakers and the business community, and society as well, working to expose the realities of national reform and international integration policies.
