DHL Express, the world’s leading international express provider, has dedicated the month of July to recognising and celebrating the contributions made by the Vietnam team.

The senior management team of DHL-VNPT Express donned the chef’s outfit ready to cook and serve the employees.

The company has launched Staff Appreciation Week to pay homage to its greatest asset – its people.

"The success and sustained leadership we witness in Vietnam today can be credited to the dedication and devotion exhibited by the team. The activities that we have put together, especially during the Staff Appreciation Week is the management’s way of saying ‘Thank You’ to the team for their support and hard work," said Christopher Ong, general director, DHL-VNPT Express.

A huge photo montage with 15 metre length was installed at DHL-VNPT Express country office, paying tribute to all the employees in Vietnam. One of the key highlights of the team bonding activities was a flash mob choreographed by the senior management team and managers to the song, ‘Ain’t No Mountain’, the featured tune in DHL’s global advertising campaign.

Other fringe activities such as a barbecue party, football tournament, and a contest to award “The Best Decorated Bulletin Board” were organised to further elevate team spirit and camaraderie amongst employees.

It was a memorable month for the employees with many expressing their heartfelt appreciation for the effort that the management had put in just for them.
