Deputy PM receives French business delegation
Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on April 4 met with Frederic Sanchez, President of the Vietnamese sub-committee of the French Business Confederation (MEDEF) and 30 French businesses currently on a working visit in Vietnam .
Deputy PM Phuc said he considers France as one of Vietnam 's most important economic partners, who enjoyed bilateral trade worth $2.8 billion in 2011.
He suggested bosting cooperation in such priority field as enery, avaition and space technology, transport infrastructure and housing.
Sanchez said Vietnam, as a destination for investment, is a priority for French businesses, adding that he hopes the government will continue providing preferential policies for French investors.
