BRG Junior Golf Tour round
two ends in style
The second round of the now hugely
popular BRG Junior Golf Tour was played
on June 2, 2014 in Hanoi. The event, or-
ganised by the Vietnam Golf Association,
is growing in stature in only its second
year as a fully fledged tour.
Steamy conditions greeted the
young golfers as play got under way at
1pm. “Even though it was real hot and
oppressively humid the children did well
and enjoyed the day - the VGA did a great
job organising this event,” said one of
the large group of parents who watched
the day’s play. The competition takes in
some of the top golf courses in Hanoi and
surrounding districts, including Kings’ Is-
land Golf Resort.
Nguyen Thao My is just 16 years old,
but this Vietnamese girl prodigy is receiv-
ing coaching in Thailand to enhance her
game. She travelled back especially to
play this event and she proved the star
of the day.
The event was supported by BRG
Group, Kings Island Golf Resort, Doson
Golf Resort, Legend Hill Golf Resort and
Foot-Joy.
Mozart 2014
A concert of Mozart classics will be
conducted by Honna Tetsuiji with a special
solo performance by Nguyen Hoang Tung at
L’Espace this month.
