Song Be Golf Resort was Vietnam’s
first international championship golf
course. The 27-hole course is officially
rated in accordance with the USGA (Unit-
ed States Golfers Association) require-
ments. There are three main courses –
Lotus Course, Palm Course and Desert
Course. The three courses offer difficulty
levels for any level of player. The Desert
course is the most demanding, offer-
ing tough play for even the professional
golfer. This course has been voted the
most unique in Vietnam and is also home
to the best par 5 in the country.

The Long Thanh Golf Club was built
on rice paddies in the scenic countryside
surrounding Saigon. With branches of
the Dong Nai River forming the backdrop,
the course is visually fabulous. It offers
36 holes in total - 18 on the Hilly Course,
and 18 on the Lake Course. All 36 holes
have their own character and this wide
variety makes for good challenges for
both serious amateurs and professional
golfers. Higher handicappers might pre-
fer the Lake Course however, because it
is relatively flat. Hole 13, a par-3 on the
Hilly Course, is the signature hole.

Dalat Palace Golf Club is home to
rolling hills, pine trees and a series of
lakes, creating a beautiful backdrop
to this championship caliber course.
Hole 6 is the signature feature, with
its intimidating tee shot and water on
the left of a narrow fairway. After that,
a slight dogleg left has more water
all the way to the green which has
the added difficulty of bunkers. With a
good opener, this is a great chance for
a birdie as the hole isn’t overly long
for a par 5. Dalat Palace Golf Club is an
enjoyable challenge for golfers of all
levels.
