UPDATE
In its continuing com-
mitment to sustainabil-
ity, Fortuna Hotel Hanoi will
take a stand against climate
change on Saturday, March
29 in support of Earth Hour.
Guests will be encouraged
to participate in this global
movement by switching off
or dimming the lights in
their rooms during the hour.
Guests to the hotel will also
receive a recycled key chain
to raise awareness of the
movement and encourage
people to add their voice
to the environmental cam-
paign. The hotel will also
be offering a special green
drink and green set menu.
Pan
Pacific
Hotels Group has
appointed Andrew
Donadel as gen-
eral manager of
PARKROYAL
Sai-
gon. Prior to his
appointment, An-
drew was general
manager of the 180-unit Pan
Pacific Serviced Suites Beach
Road, Singapore, where he
guided the property from
its pre-opening
stages to a suc-
cessful
launch
last May. At the
same time, he
also oversaw the
management of
the adjacent 90-
unit PARKROYAL
Serviced Suites, Singapore.
Both properties are owned
and managed by Pan Pacific
Hotels Group.
Halong
Bay
cruise
company Oriental Sails,
the owner of the newly
launched Starlight in Ha-
long Bay, has started a
charity project for poor
children in Mong Duong,
roughly 230km from Hanoi.
The Compassion Library
will provide books to poor
children at Nguyen Trai ele-
mentary school. Notebooks
and stationery will also be
gifted on March 15. Con-
cern for the community has
long been important to Ori-
ental Sails and more charity
ventures are in the pipeline.
The Bistro
The Bistro is ideally lo-
cated on the tourist route
linking the Marble Mountain
in Danang City with Hoi An
ancient town.
The restaurant and bar
is managed by the Pegasus
International UniCollege Da-
nang. The mixed develop-
ment education project also
includes commercial and
college housing facilities.
The Bistro has an airy
outdoor bar. It is not only
a training restaurant for
Pegasus’ students, but it is
also an ideal rendezvous
for the Singapore school’s
students and their parents,
as well as for locals and
tourists to enjoy good food
and drinks.
Designed elegantly in
a Western style, The Bistro
is equipped with the lat-
est facilities and amenities.
Open from 8am - 6pm, the
restaurant serves breakfast
and lunch with a special
menu of tea, coffee and
various cakes. The taste is
incredibly delicious and the
prices are reasonable.
With an open kitchen,
there is chance to enjoy
a hot cup of coffee while
viewing the chefs cooking
your meal. Besides, The
Bistro also offers packages
to celebrate birthdays and
weddings. A BBQ buffet can
be arranged for up to 200
guests.
All the food at The Bis-
tro is created by a skillful
team of chefs who have
worked in 4 and 5 star ho-
tels and resorts.
