Unconditional belief
Unconditional Belief is the title
of a new exhibition by visual art-
ists Truong Cong Tung, Phan Thao
Nguyen and curator Arlette Quynh
Anh Tran. For over a year the collec-
tive – known as Art Labor - has been
collaborating with an anthropolo-
gist, ophthalmologist and medical
architect, researching the influence
of psychiatry and medicine on the
understanding of sickness in Viet-
namese society. This exhibition will
showcase their research, which will
include paintings on wooden plates
and X-ray film in addition to other
installations, lacquer sculptures and
video art.
