ROOFTOP BARS
SUMMIT LOUNGE, SOFITEL PLAZA HANOI
This is the best place to enjoy the sunset over West Lake
and the spectacular panoramic views of Hanoi’s skyline. Lo-
cated on the 20th floor, Summit Lounge also offers breath-
taking views of the Red River. When the night falls, the whole
city becomes a splendid picture. In the winter months, as the
weather becomes cooler, leave the beautiful terrace and sit
inside to watch the city through floor-to-ceiling windows.
CHILL SKY BAR
Set high on the 26th floor of the AB Tower on Le Lai
street, Chill is a sophisticated and elegant high-end lounge
venue for friends, flirtatious encounters or lingering romantic
moments. Everything about this bar screams ‘too cool for
you’, including the dress code, impressively lit outdoor bar,
comfortable lounge seating, and extra high prices. It’s worth
a stop if only to check out the great view of the city and to

The iconic rooftop bar in the heart of downtown, Saigon
Saigon still carries some of the charm it had during the war.
Some great pictures from the old days hang on the wall, but
it has also been somewhat modernised. Being smack in the
middle of downtown gives it some great panoramic views of
some of Ho Chi Minh City’s famous landmarks including the
People’s Committee Building and the Saigon Opera House.
This is also a great place to watch the sun go down over the
lights of the city and relax with friends to the sounds of live
entertainment.
