Chi Minh. To mark the significance of
their visit, Uncle Ho himself chose its
name. Although it is a small island, it
has become a symbol of the bay thanks
to its quiet atmosphere and its clean
white sands.
While some of us enjoyed a dip
in the ocean, others tried their hand
at kayaking or hiked to the summit
of Titov for a sweeping view of the
bay. Paragliding is also an option which
gives tourists a bird-eye view of the
spectacular scenes below. For those
who love energetic activities, beach vol-
leyball and football is also available on
the island.
An hour and a half passed quickly
and it was time to head back to our cabin
to shower and change for dinner. On
deck we were invited to a wine tasting to
sample offerings from many continents.
We savoured their tastes as the sun
slowly dropped behind the surrounding
islands and the twilight dwindled.
Afterwards, a gala dinner awaited
in Trong Cave. Hundreds of candles lit
the cave brilliantly and a massive array
of sumptuous seafood and drinks were
ready to be served to a soundtrack
