XMAS AND NEW YEAR CELEBRATION

glorious gardens of frangipani
and hibiscus and fronted by
softs sands, the Golden Sand

Belhotel International, the Golden Sand
Resort and Spa in Hoi An is designed in a
traditional Vietnamese style with a con-
temporary twist to provide a five- star
beach front international resort com-
prising eight chalet-like buildings with
more than 200 hotel rooms and suites.
The spacious lobby dazzles guests
with its brilliant lights and view to the
blue ocean. The Christmas dinner is
always elegantly decorated with glitter-
ing candles, colourful flowers and spar-
kling balls. Guests can start with a cock-
tail while enjoying the sweet and merry
melodies of violins and saxophones.
With more than 120 specialties,
Golden Sand’s buffet pleases every
palate. Traditional Christmas dishes
are the centre of the party with roast
turkey being the highlight alongside
lamb cooked with wine and local sea-
food. There is also a sushi bar for
Japanese food fans with imported
salmon, tuna and caviar. Desserts are
also plentiful with the colourful fresh
fruits of Hoi An as well as traditional
sweet dishes and snacks.
Once Christmas has passed, an
eventful music performance with tra-
ditional music and songs brings in the
New Year and at countdown time glass-
es of Champagne will be raised and
there will be joyful dancing.
