A center to assist tourists was opened in central Da Nang city on February 1, providing free information about hotels and destinations and handing out maps and brochures.

In collaboration with Emergency Centre 115 for medical assistance and mobile police force 113, it will also help tourists in case of emergencies and other problems.

The central city houses various places of interest, like the Museum of Cham Sculpture, Ngu Hanh Son (Five Mountains), Non Nuoc Beach and luxury beach resorts.

Early this year, Lao Airlines has launched a tri-weekly service between Laos’ southern city of Pakse and Da Nang, operating a 68 seat ATR 72 aircraft.

Hong Kong Dragon Airlines Ltd, or Dragonair, a subsidiary of Cathay Pacific, has also announced its tri-weekly service plan from Hong Kong to Da Nang using an 180-seat Airbus A320 aircraft from March 28.
