SINGAPORE: Coming to a cinema near you: A movie on the life of Nick Vujicic.

The motivational speaker, speaking in Singapore at an event promoting his upcoming Attitude is Altitude online magazine, said a feature film on his life story should be out by 2016. Also in the pipeline is an online show, slated for a weekly broadcast.

Mr Vujicic, who was born without fully-formed arms or legs due to tetra-ameila syndrome, is a best-selling author and Director of Life Without Limbs, a non-profit organisation he started with the intention of spreading the message of hope.

And hope should be the most accessible thing in the world, said Mr Vujicic at a press conference at *Scape on Tuesday (Dec 16).

Which is why he said he plans to "give out hope for free" with the launch of Attitude is Altitude, which will include articles that inspire and motivate readers to lead a more active, healthy and positive life.

The first issue of the free monthly magazine will be launched in January 2015, he said. His hope for the magazine: That it will "awaken people to the fact that we are all change makers to the people around us".

On future plans, Mr Vujicic, 32, said he will be launching a feature film about his life story in 2016, to be shown "in cinemas all around the world". He will also launch a weekly TV show on the Internet, he said at the press conference.

ON THE SYDNEY SIEGE

Mr Vujicic - who was born in Melbourne - also gave his views about the Sydney siege, which ended in tragedy with the death of two hostages and the hostage-taker on Tuesday morning. The Australian citizen called on youths here to fight evil with good.

"In this world of 7 billion people, there is a small portion of the population that not only has personal issues, but also political and personal motives that could result in violence, murder and corruption.

"Unfortunately, this world may not get any better soon.

"I want to encourage the next generation. While there is always going to be evil in the world, what I am trying to inspire them to do and instil within them is to really do good on a big scale. The evil scale will always get bigger, but where is the good?

"There's always bad news out there - let's show them good news, too."
