BASF appoints direct distributor for Central Vietnam

Effective from March 6, 2017, Duy Thinh Company Limited will be responsible for the distribution of BASF’s construction chemical solutions in Central Vietnam.

This is part of BASF’s efforts to create direct supply links to current customers in the region.

Le Doan Trinh, head of construction chemicals at BASF Vietnam, said that, “Duy Thinh has a strong presence in Central Vietnam. Their extensive expertise and experience in the construction industry will definitely support us to serve this area better and faster. We are delighted with this new arrangement and look forward to working very closely with them.”

With its head office located in Danang, Duy Thinh Co., Ltd. is a leading trader in Central Vietnam, supplying transportation services and gasoline to distributors and materials for construction projects. Duy Thinh has supported notable construction projects, including the Dragon Bridge, Tran Thi Ly Bridge, and Danang Centre Complex.

BASF’s Construction Chemicals division has been present in Vietnam since 1996. The division operates two factories, one at Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park in the southern province of Binh Duong and another at Van Trung Industrial Zone in the northern province of Bac Giang.
