4.7 million cu.m of oil and petrol to be bought from Dung Quat Oil Refinery

The Binh Son Refinery and Petrochemical Company (BSR) signed contracts on November 9 with the National Petroleum Import-Export Corporation (Petrolimex), PetroVietnam Oil Corporation (PV Oil), PETEC Trading, Investment Corporation, and the Vietnam Air Petrol Company (Vinapco) to purchase oil and petrol products from the Dung Quat Oil Refinery in 2011.

     

BSR manages and operates the oil refinery.

Petrolimex will buy 2 million cubic metres of assorted petrol and oil from the Dung Quat Oil Refinery, PV Oil will buy 1.5 million, PETEC will buy 1 million, and Vinapco will buy 200,000.

The refinery plans to turn out 4.9 million tonnes of assorted products in 2011, including 4.6 million tonnes of oil and petrol.

BSR is committed to selling petrol and oil to their customers at prices which are equivalent to those of imported petrol and oil.
