Earlier, PM Nguyen Tan Dung has extended his sympathies and condolences to people who have had their relatives and property lost due to torrential rains and floods sweeping through several Northern provinces over the past days.

As torrential rains are forecast to continue in the next few days, PM Dung tasked relevant ministries, agencies and localities to cope with and quickly overcome the consequences of the adverse national disasters, timely provide food aid and medicines to needed areas.

They need to enhance information dissemination to instruct people to actively cope with flash flood.
