The Government issued a Decree No. 23/2017/NĐ-CP on amending and supplementing Decree No. 162/2013/NĐ-CP on sanctioning administrative violations in the sea areas and the continental shelf of Viet Nam.

The Decree aims to meet the actual requirements of struggling against administrative violations on the seas, islands and continental shelf of Viet Nam, including the prevention of smuggling and trade fraud on seas to ensure the effectiveness of the State management on this area.

Decree No. 25/2017/ND-CP on State financial reports will take effect since January 1, 2018. The Decree including five charters and 20 articles, stipulates the contents of the State financial reports, the establishment and announcement of the State financial reports and responsibilities of the local agencies in providing information for setting up the State financial reports.

The Government issued Decree No. 26/2017/NĐ-CP stipulating the functions, tasks, rights and organization of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA). The ministry realizes the State management functions in terms of diplomacy, including borders, national territory, diplomatic works with Overseas Vietnamese, signing and implementing international conventions and agreements, monitoring Viet Nam’s representative agencies abroad and controlling public services under its management.

Decree No. 32/2017/ND-CP defines state investment credit, which clearly stipulates the subjects entitled to getting the credit, lending conditions and interest rates. The subjects eligible for investment credits are those who have investment projects on the list of those entitled to investment credits promulgated together with this Decree.

Decision No. 05/2017/QĐ-TTg deals with the establishment of an emergency response system to ensure the national network information safety to deal with cyber attacks and increase the effectiveness of the State management in emergency response system to ensure cyber security.

Decision No. 07/2017/QD-TTg dated March 27th, 2017 of the Prime Minister on non-stop electronic toll collection heads to create a legal framework for non-stop electronic toll collection activities, provide information for State planning and management and tools for better transport management.
