132 arrested for organising online gambling
The Ministry of Public Security’s Police Investigation Department of Social Security Crime has busted an online gambling ring in HCM City and arrested more than 130 people suspected of involvement.

At 11.30pm on Saturday, the police conducted a raid on four apartments in Bàu Cát 2 Apartment Building on HCM City’s Vườn Lan Road.
Hundreds of people were caught gambling in activities such as football betting and illegal cockfights online.
As many as 132 persons allegedly involved in the ring were arrested for investigation. Some 80 motorbikes and several documents were also seized.
By early Sunday morning, some 70 persons were taken to the police headquarters for further investigation. The rest were transferred to the police in Tân Bình District.
The ring was uncovered by the police following a month of investigation.
